Privacy
Two different things, kept separate:
MegaMem the product runs entirely on your own machine. It collects nothing, phones nowhere, and your documents and indexes never leave your disk.
This waitlist collects your email — and, only if you give it, your name and who you are (developer, researcher, agent builder…) — so we can notify you when MegaMem launches. Each signup also notes basic source info — the page that linked you here and any campaign tags in the link (utm_source & friends) — so we know how people find us.
That’s it. No tracking pixels, no analytics cookies, no selling or sharing your data, no spam. Confirming your signup sets one strictly-necessary cookie on the confirm page — it holds your confirmation token for up to 72 hours so the page works if you reload it — and nothing else here sets cookies. You’ll get a confirm email to verify your address, a short welcome once you’ve confirmed, and the launch announcement — that’s all.
We keep a consent record with your signup: the times you signed up and confirmed, the network addresses used, and the wording you agreed to. It’s kept while you’re subscribed and for three years after you unsubscribe, as Canada’s anti-spam law expects. Every subscriber email carries an unsubscribe link — one click, effective immediately, no login. You can also withdraw anytime by emailing us.
