About

MegaMem gives your AI agents a way to search all your notes and documents. An agent asks a question in plain words over MCP and gets an answer in about 0.4 ms, then reads just the section it needs — your folders never get loaded into the context window wholesale. It also works from the terminal and over a local HTTP service, for AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf and VS Code.

It runs 100% on your own computer: a single 26 MB program, and your notes and indexes never leave your disk. Search combines BM25 keyword matching with embeddings on every question, so notes that say things differently and exact phrases — error messages, names, tickers — both turn up.

MegaMem is built by webuildstuff.io, the independent web studio behind tools like powerful.build, api.gripe and playlist.rest.

It has not launched yet. Join the waitlist for launch news — questions welcome at support@mega.ec.
